Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Once a booking has been confirmed, you automatically accept these terms and agree to adhere to them.

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Vinovelo.co.uk's Website, located at Vinovelo.co.uk.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Vinovelo.co.uk if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Bookings

I. 50% payment of the invoice is due upon receipt of the booking in writing in order to confirm your booking. Provisional dates will be held for 48 hours and will be released unless a booking is confirmed in writing and the 50% of the invoice has been paid.

II. No booking is confirmed until and unless the first 50% tranche payment has been received. Vino Velo will not accept any payments by cheque or cash.

III. Deposits and payment plans may be available at the discretion of Vino Velo.

IV. Only guests over 18 years of age are able to participate in a Vino Velo event. Proof of age may be required (passport/driving license/ID Pass Card)

V. A Vino Velo event will go ahead in all weather conditions, however the outside elements of a cycling tour may take alternative routes dependant upon the weather and other factors beyond Vino Velo's control.

VI. Vino Velo cannot be held responsible for any injury or damage to personal property on a Vino Velo event. There will be riding on sometimes uneven or potholed public roads . Suitable cycling clothing and footwear are encouraged.

VII. If there are elements of an event in which guests cannot or prefer not to participate in, for example, if a guest is unable to or chooses to abstain from drinking alcohol, no discount will be provided but an alternative soft drink will be offered.

VIII. Some elements of an Vino Velo event may be held on an upstairs level only accessible via stairs. If you have specific access requirements, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance.

IX. Vino Velo reserves the right to change the planned itineraries at any time and at our discretion in the event of circumstances outside of our control. This includes the unexpected closure of vineyards.

X. You agree to inform Vino Velo of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of your booking. Although every effort is made to provide allergen free dishes, owing to each food outlet layout, they cannot guarantee cross contamination.

Payments

I. Unless otherwise agreed at the booking process, payments will be taken in GBP (£).

II. Payments are made via invoice through Stripe or direct bank transfer.

III. When making a payment through Stripe, you, the customer are subject to the "Stripe Connected Account Agreement" and the “Stripe Services Agreement”.

By agreeing to these terms and when making a payment, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement which can be found here. When making a payment through Stripe, you agree to provide Vino Velo with up to date and correct relevant information about yourself and agree to authorise Vino Velo to share this information with Stripe to complete the payment. Vino Velo and Stripe reserve the right to amend these terms. For full details on Stripe and their policies, please visit their website here.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to unfortunately cancel your booking, Vino Velo has the following cancellation policy:

I. If your booking is cancelled more than 31 days in advance of the booking date then a full refund of the 50% booking fee can be offered if a new date chosen.

II. If your booking is cancelled between 31 – 5 days in advance of your booking date then a 25% refund of the total charge will be offered.

III. If your booking is cancelled less than 5 days in advance of your booking date then no refund is offered and a date change will incur complete new booking costs.100 % of the booking invoice cost is incurred and due to be paid.

IV. If the numbers for your booking change, Vino Velo has the following terms:

V. If your guest numbers decrease more than 31 days in advance of the booking then a refund can be offered for the guests not attending. No refund will be offered if the minimum number of guests is not met. If additional guests are required to be added to the booking then this will be charged at an additional rate for the booking and will be subject to availability.

VI. If your guest numbers decrease between 31 – 5 days in advance of the booking then 25% of a per person charge will be refunded. No refund will be offered if the minimum number of guests ( 8 persons ) is not met. If additional guests are required to be added to the booking then this will be charged at an additional rate for the booking and will be subject to availability.

VII. If your guest numbers decrease less than 5 days in advance of the booking then no refund is offered for the guests not attending. If additional guests are required to be added to the booking then this will be charged at an additional rate for the booking and will be subject to availability.

VIII. Unfortunately we will not be able to add additional guests less than 5 days in advance of your booking date.

IX. Refunds are unavailable once your booking has taken place.

X. In the unlikely event Vino Velo has to cancel the event , Vino Velo will be responsible for the cancellation and a full refund will be offered.

Safety & Conduct

I. You accept full responsibility for your actions and for any damage or loss caused by you whilst on an Vino Velo event .

II. Any damage or loss caused by you on the event will be paid in full by you, to the appropriate company or owner. Failure to do so will render you responsible for any future claims including costs that might subsequently be made against you or Vino Velo.

III. In the event of a Vineyard visit whilst at each vineyard and during transport you agree to adhere to their safety, alcohol and conduct policies. Each vineyard or travel company reserves the right to enforce these policies and remove any guest of an Vino Velo from their premises or vehicle.

IV. Whilst travelling throughout the day via transport provided by Vino Velo, you agree to obey all English road laws.

V. Vino Velo reserves the right to remove any guest from an experience if they are not complying with any safety or conduct policy.

VI. If you are refused the right to continue the experience, Vino Velo is not liable for any refund, compensation or any additional costs incurred by you.

VII. Vino Velo and the host at each vineyard on the experience reserves the right to stop serving alcohol to any guest that appears to be intoxicated.

Complaints

I. In the unlikely event that you need to make a complaint, please ensure you have informed the Vino Velo team member at the time of your complaint. If the complaint cannot be resolved immediately then please send your complaint in writing to the Owner & Director of Vino Velo (Kate Dzimati ; kate@vinovelo.co.uk ) within 30 days so that the complaint can be investigated and handled as soon as possible. A response to the complaint will be sent within 30 days of receipt. Complaints received after 30 days of the booking will not be considered.

Itineraries

I. It is the guests responsibility to ensure that the group is at the agreed start point on time. Vino Velo reserves the right to adjust the itinerary if guests are not at the start point on time.

II. Vino Velo reserves the right to adjust itineraries at late notice if required due to reasons out of their control.

III. Vino Velo will endeavour to ensure that drop off times are met but does not accept responsibility for any travel connection or plans missed due to issues outside of their control, for example road closures or traffic.

IV. As the possible vineyards visits included on an Vino Velo event are agricultural businesses and working wineries, a programme of spraying is in place throughout the year. Whilst every effort is made to not disrupt the experience or detract from our guests’ enjoyment, there may be times when it is not possible to walk the planned routes around the vineyard or in the winery due to spraying or harvest. Alternative arrangements will be made and will not detract from the experience.

V. The wines tasted throughout your experience are all subject to availability and are provided as standard tasting measures.

Insurance

I. Vino Velo accepts no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst on any experience.

II. Vino Velo accepts no responsibility for the damage, theft or loss to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your experience. Any personal items left in the transport vehicle is left at your own risk.

III. There is no travel insurance included in your experience and Vino Velo does not provide this. We recommend that each participant carries appropriate insurance coverage.

IV. Vino Velo confirms they have sufficient public liability insurance and will maintain this for the duration of your experience. A copy of the certificate is available upon request.

V. Whilst at each vineyard and throughout your minibus transport, you will be covered by the relevant vineyard and transport company public liability insurance.

Photography & Videography

I. During your experience, Vino Velo may take photographs and videos of you and your group. You agree that these may be used on Vino Velo's (and subsequent relevant) website, advertisement, social media and marketing materials without obtaining any further consent or payment in respect of such photographs and/or films. Your permission will be asked on the day of your experience and will only be used if you consent verbally to this.

We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Vinovelo.co.uk, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with the Vinovelo.co.uk’s Privacy Policy.
