Kate Dzimati
Ride Leader and Director

Originally from New Zealand and with a love of the outdoors, Kate is an accredited British Cycling Breeze Ride Leader. After a 20-year career as a teacher, she has devoted her time to cycling and helping others derive the undoubted benefits which cycling brings. Her most recent work includes assisting coaching on a beginner’s cycling course for ‘Women Together’ – the South Cluster of Essex, Mind and Spirit. Women from various faith traditions came together to learn new cycling skills and build confidence within a safe and welcoming environment.

Kate has also cycled over 100 miles in one day, participated in many fundraising sportives of 60 miles plus and completed stretches of the beautiful Essex and Suffolk coastline. As a keen off-roader, Kate has taken rides along the Cantii Way in Kent and is looking forward to continuing her exploration of this picturesque region.

CSR Initiative

SUPPORTING LOCAL PROJECTS

‘Women supporting women’ is an important theme that resonates with us. Your support will help us to aid a local charity, Safer Places. Safer Places has over 40 years’ experience in delivering holistic support services to victims of Domestic Abuse across Essex and Hertfordshire. A percentage of our profits will be directed at providing group rides to those women in our community who are accessing the valuable support from this charity. These rides will build confidence, offer fellowship, a sense of well-being and potentially life-changing opportunities to gain new skills.
